Topic: Post-Tensioning Repairs on an Uptown Condo Building

Presenters: Ed Carter & Jon Silva (Western Specialty Contractors)

The presentation will be a profile of a Western Specialty Contractors project from 2019 at the Azure Condominiums in Dallas. The project involved repair of a post-tensioning tendon that was ruptured by a plumbing contractor during renovations on the 30th Floor of the condominium tower. The presentation will highlight the challenges of performing the repair at height and within an occupied residential building.
