Topic:                       Preview of ICRI’s Field Applicator Training Program

At the behest of many of our Contractor members, ICRI is in the process of developing a one-day training program for field applicators of concrete repair materials.  The program will consist of a combination of classroom presentations outlining many of the critical aspects of proper concrete repair enumerated in ICRI’s Technical Guidelines, coupled with work stations that will demonstrate recommended techniques to produce durable, long-lasting repairs to concrete structures.

While the totality of the program has yet to be completed, come and get a preview of what has been put together so far.  We would welcome your input!  The pilot training program for field applicators is scheduled for December, 2023, here in the DFW area.

Presenter: Mark LeMay, AIA, LEED AP, FICRI

Mark is a Principal at JQ Engineering in Dallas, where he has worked since 2006. Although he recently retired, he still assists JQ’s Facilities Performance group on a part-time basis. Mark has over 30 years of experience in the concrete repair industry, including working for a contractor and as a consultant. Mark has contributed significantly to ICRI on a local and international level.  He is a founding member of the North Texas Chapter and a past chapter president. Mark also served as ICRI President in 2020, and was honored as an ICRI Fellow in 2020.
