Presentation: Material and Labor Volatility and What it Means for North Texas Construction: A Round Table Discussion

Over the past several months, the construction sector, including the concrete repair industry has been affected by escalating material costs, shortages and lengthening delivery times, as well as by issues with securing labor. Across commercial construction, the price increases have caused contractors to rework the material costs on their jobs, and the uncertainty is resulting in owners to reconsider the schedule of their projects. In North Texas, contractors have reported difficulties in securing concrete for their projects in recent months.

This round table is intended to be an interactive session to bring the meeting participants, comprising of contractors, manufacturers and engineers, together and discuss their recent experiences, how they have tried to overcome the issues, and based on their first-hand knowledge of the industry what they consider the trends may be over the summer and into end of the year.
